I’ve been going to Radis since I moved to silverlake in 2008. I’ve tried other shops/the dealerships/Jiffy Lube etc. and I always come back to Radis for their incredible service, expertise and fair and honest pricing. They’ve helped me deal with insurance issues, mystery car problems and catalytic converter replacement (anyone with a Prius: ask Raymond to install a cage on yours!). Truly the best.

i took my car here because my engine was overheating and it was close by. i don’t know anything about cars. after dropping it off, i got the call from radis and was offered two options: one option for $1200 or another option for $1600. they said i could do the cheaper option, but if it didn’t work, then i would have to pay for both. i was confused as to what the issue was and what i was paying for. it made me uneasy, and i decided that i’d feel better towing my car to a place across town that had been recommended to me by friends. Radis charged me $310 for the diagnostic fee, but they said if i let them do the repair, they would credit the amount. i still decided to take my car to the other place where i was quoted $900. the new place clearly explained what needed to be fixed and outlined the cost of parts and labor. after the experience at the new place, i will not be returning to or recommending radis.

They are the best, and I know it's rare for car shops to say that. They're honest and really make a point to keep their customers happy. They have gone beyond expectations for me, multiple times. Now I get it, they want to keep me coming because it makes them money but I'm okay with that because we both win from that relationship.
I would strongly recommend to anyone in the area.

They were my mechanic for the last 3 years, I’ll no longer be going here anymore. My truck died due to the battery losing charge, got it towed in. They said it was my alternator (which was only 2 years old). Price to replace the alternator was fine, but when my GF picked up my truck it died 5 mins later. They were completely unapologetic and rude to her. My battery died again less a month then a month later. I had the time to look at it myself. $15 & an hr of work later the problem was fixed. The cable to the alternator was burnt out and working intermittently. So wasted $500 bucks most likely.

I’d say they’re prices are fair, but they don’t have your back. Had another example where they replaced my rear main seal and then told me after that my transmission was leaking. It costs $1200 to drop the transmission and replace the seal. Would of been a great time to tell me about other issues happening in the same area.

Thank you so much, Radis. I live nearby and they helped my car pass California inspection. It involved lots of problem solving, multiple visits, and looming DMV deadlines. Radi's handled it all - working on a budget and meeting all the deadlines. I would definitely recommend this business to a friend. Thanks so much, guys.

Spoke on phone for about 20 seconds. A women picked up the phone with the rudest attitude. I politely told her that I had ordered a set of spacers for my wheels along with lowering springs. She then paused and in an aggressive tone said, "what car?". I replied, "a Golf GTI", and then she was like "A Golf GTI!? Yeah, we don't alter vehicles here, OKay. bye." hangs up phone. I just sat there so confused like did I just encounter a German Vehicle hater or something lol. I got my oil change from them about a year ago and the guy I met was super cool, I don't know who this lady was on the phone but she should not be put on phones.

Honest and fair people. My car broke down while traveling thru LA. Obviously afraid of being taken advantage of. Prayed I'd pick an honest mechanic, and was blessed with Radi.
