La propiedad está en excelente estado y limpia, pero el personal, y el servicio es desastroso, parece que hacen un esfuerzo adicional para hacerte la vida imposible. Parece un motel de paso increíblemente caro más que un hotel de cadena, hasta en sus amenities tiene condones y lubricante, es ridículo. Salimos corriendo después de la primera noche hacia el Fairmont.

Excellent service. From the valet to the restaurants., concierge and staff- everyone was helpful- and everyone seemed to enjoy working there. Hotel is trendy- and a hotspot for what I assume are single people. My son enjoyed the pool- but it was more geared for young adults socializing. |The royal room restaurant, located inside the hotel- was exceptional and our server Carter, bent over backwards for us... made our family feel really welcomed. Surprising very quiet in the evening... we were on the 10th floor.

Walking into the Thompson was just great. The staff has been incredibly helpful. I appreciated the dark moody features in the room and a lovely downtown view. It's a cool spot with excellent amenities. Comfy bed. Nice waterfall shower and big bathroom. Overall a 10/10 experience.

This was a great experience. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. We will for sure be back! The rooms were super spacious and the bed was like being on a pillow of clouds. The restaurants were fantastic as well. I would recommend the margs at the pool bar while enjoying some handmade guac!

Hotel environment and location is great, love the city! The valet service is top notch, always received my car within a short notice and Nicolas Gonzalez was the one stand out among with his peers. Never forget the experience he saw my phone and help to keep it at the valet’s drawer and wait till I’m back. Kudos to him and the team.

Great experience at the Thompson Austin. Stayed here during my time at SXSW. It's modern and upscale. The customer service was top notch, especially all the housekeepers on my floor. I give them a shoutout for being so friendly. Definitely stay here if you are in the area!

Had a great stay at the Thompson Austin! The hotel has a cozy yet high-end vibe, and the check-in staff was courteous and welcoming. They honored my Globalist status with an upgrade, which was much appreciated.||||The diner serves excellent breakfast options—highly recommend the Green Egg Benedict (way better than it sounds!). I also really enjoyed the vibe and menu at Arriba Abajo, the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, it was too cold during my visit to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces, but I can see how this would be a fantastic spot in warmer months.||||The location is excellent—within walking distance of great bars and downtown Austin nightlife. One note of caution: I visited during the Austin Marathon and didn’t plan accordingly. Rideshare availability was a nightmare; after an hour of trying to get an Uber, I had to walk several blocks to find a viable pickup spot. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to keep in mind if visiting during a major event.||||Overall, the staff was great, and I’d definitely return—especially when the weather is warmer!
